The trail ascends gradually for two hours until we reach the high-altitude pass (4,990 m / 16,617 ft). From here, we take in the sacred energy of the towering Humantay snow peak (5,902 m), where small wild birds accompany us along the path.

DAY 2: PAUCARCANCHA

We begin our sacred journey at 8:00 AM, descending for about five hours through breathtaking Andean landscapes, passing by the Pampacahuana community until we reach the ancient route leading to the archaeological site of Paucarcancha, near our campsite (2980 m / 9923 ft). This is a gentle and contemplative day, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the sacred energy of the Andean culture.

After breakfast, we continue downhill alongside the Pampacahuana River, following its path towards the Wayllabamba community (3800 m). Here, we merge with the classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, stepping onto the spiritual path walked by the ancient Andean civilizations. From this point, we begin an uphill ascent toward Llulluchapampa, surrounded by sacred landscapes. By afternoon, we reach our campsite (3680 m / 12254 ft), where we rest, preparing for the next chapter of our transformational journey through the Andes.
