With this sacred journey, you will visit the most important and essential places related to tourism in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. As part of this ancient route, we will explore the most prominent experimental center of the Inkas in Moray, a site deeply connected to Andean culture. We will also visit the Salt Mines, which have been exploited since the time of the Inkas, harnessing the sacred energy of the land. Finally, we will walk through the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, following a sacred earth journey that leads us to the most important archaeological complex of the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo.
ITINERARY DESCRIPTION
We will pick you up from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco at 8:30 AM to begin this sacred journey. We will board our vehicle and travel along the Chinchero route to the Maras district, following an ancient route that connects us with the deep history of Andean culture. After an hour of travel, we will stop for an explanation by our guide before continuing to the archaeological park of Moray.
Upon arriving at Moray, we will explore this fascinating site, which holds deep connections to sacred energy and Inkan agricultural wisdom. After an hour-long guided tour, we will continue our Cuzco spiritual travel to the Salt Mines, also known as “Salineras de Maras.” These salt pools, used since Inkan times, are a testament to sacred earth journey traditions. We will spend 40 minutes here before continuing to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas for lunch.
After enjoying our meal, we will proceed to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, traveling for 30 minutes. Here, we will have the option to enter the site, where our one-hour guided tour will further immerse us in the wonders of Andean spirituality tour experiences. Finally, we will board our vehicle and return to Cusco, arriving after 1.5 hours. If your hotel is in the Sacred Valley, we will reach it earlier, concluding this unforgettable experience.
