Start/End of the tour in the Plaza de Armas of the city of Urubamba
At 8:30 AM, our Peru Alive guide will pick you up from your hotel in our private vehicle (for private service). For fixed departures, the meeting point will be at the Plaza de Armas in Urubamba, a vibrant town in the Sacred Valley. From here, we embark on a transformational journey, following the sacred waters of the Vilcanota River, also known as Wilkamayo, for approximately 30 minutes until we reach the impressive archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo—a living Inka town.
At Ollantaytambo, we will explore its ancestral temples, where perfectly assembled stone structures stand as a testament to advanced Inka engineering, spiritual wisdom, and sacred energy. This sacred site, rich in history, offers a profound connection to the soul of the Andean world.
Next, you will have 30 minutes to explore the local handicraft market, where traditional Andean weavings and handmade crafts showcase the cultural legacy of the Andean people.
Our journey continues to the mystical portal of Ñaupa Iglesia or Choquequilla, known as the Gateway to the Third Dimension. This is an ancient spiritual site where the Inkas connected with the cosmos and the divine forces of the universe. The energy here flows uniquely, awakening the spirit of those who visit. In this sacred place, we will take a short walk and participate in a presentation about Andean-Amazonian cosmovision. We will also have the assistance of an Andean Priest or Shaman (subject to availability), who will guide us in a sacred offering ritual to connect with Pachamama (Mother Earth) on this spiritual pilgrimage.
Our spiritual tour continues to Maras and Moray, two archaeological gems filled with mystery and ancestral wisdom.
Moray, with its circular terraces, was an Inka agricultural experimentation center, where Mother Nature and sacred knowledge converged in perfect harmony.
Maras, with its over 3,000 crystalline salt pools, offers an impressive visual spectacle and a profound connection with the Earth’s healing energy.
Afterward, we visit the picturesque Maras square and its famous Colonial Facades Street - Jerusalem, before heading to the Qolqas of Cheqoq archaeological site, an ancient agricultural storage center. Here, we will learn about the importance of corn in Inka culture and its spiritual significance.
Finally, we return to Urubamba at 5:00 PM, concluding this life-changing journey in the Sacred Valley of the Inkas. We hope you enjoy this transformational experience, discover yourself, and heal your soul on this sacred Andean pilgrimage.
